How We Work
CLARITY operates at the intersection of climate science, health systems, and health informatics, applying a systems-based, collaborative approach to deliver equitable, environmentally sustainable digital health solutions that strengthen climate resilience, especially for communities most at risk.
Our work brings together data, interdisciplinary expertise, and community knowledge to:
- identify climate-related health risks and system vulnerabilities
- co-design responsive, context-specific digital health solutions
- test and refine these solutions in practice
- translate evidence into policy, practice, and scalable impact
We work iteratively, linking evidence generation, innovation, and implementation, to ensure our solutions remain relevant, effective, and grounded in the needs of the communities they serve.

Why we work this way
Climate-related health challenges are complex, interconnected, and unequally distributed.
They cannot be addressed through isolateddisciplines or technologies alone.
CLARITY’s approach is grounded in the recognition that:
* health outcomes are shaped by interacting social, environmental, and system-level factors
* digital health solutions must be designed with, not for, communities
* innovation must be environmentally sustainable to avoid contributing to the problem it seeks to solve
* and, real impact requires moving beyond research into implementation and system change.
By integrating these principles, we ensure that our work delivers practical, scalable, and equitable solutions that strengthen climate resilience across health systems and communities.
